Werkema - Building Automation for Milling, Drilling, Tapping

Werkema Machine Company, Inc. was established in 1970 as a designer and builder of special
machinery for high volume precision machining of castings and forgings, especially milling,
drilling and tapping. While most are dial type index machines, we build many other types as
well. Werkema has built a reputation for providing machines that optimize precision, speed
and longevity. We have machines in the field at world class facilities that have been running
three shifts of production since the early 90’s.

Our in house engineering department does complete detail design of mechanical, hydraulic,
pneumatic and electrical components and systems. All of our machines are built to our customers’
specifications using the components of their choice. Upon completion, they are tested for
performance, safety, and reliability. Excellent documentation is provided with each machine in
the form of detailed schematics. Upon request, we can also provide training for operators, set-up,
and maintenance personnel.
